Trump is 9 for 9 in senate endorsements. The RINOs in the Senate are a disgrace and they need to go. They are assisting the TDS of the democrats and blocking the President's agenda. I think they may be getting the message.

No you don't understand. It's someone who tells us ( and lies about) what they're going to do when they're elected in order to get our vote, then goes along with the dems and the swamp when they get there.earendel wrote: ↑Wed May 27, 2026 9:44 amSo finally I understand what RINO means - it means that anyone who doesn't agree with Trump is not a true Republican. What you don't get is that Trump earns our trust, to a point, because he has not done that. He told us what he would do and he has pretty much kept his word. And he has done that through the incredible pressure, harassment, sabotage and lawfare manufactured by the swamp, the dems, their lapdog press, and the millions of ignorant, useful idiots they import and breed.

It is pretty wild. Paxton by all accounts is a huge piece of shit. Cornyn was very plausibly about to become the seniormost Republican in the Senate and they tossed him for a total dirtbag.wbtravis007 wrote: ↑Wed May 27, 2026 8:39 amGuess y’all don’t really care about the corruption as long as they love the whities and hate the gays and them.BackInTex wrote: ↑Wed May 27, 2026 7:56 amI agree with your assessment of the Democratic party. That is the mistake your ilk has made right from the beginning. We don't blindly follow what Trump wants. He is the only politician who actually represents what WE WANT. Cornyn (and Massie) are out because they were blocking the Save Act and standing with McConnell and Thune against trump's agenda, appointments and priorities.
Once again you show your hypocrisy by completely ignoring the fact that EVERY DEMOCRAT votes exactly how they are told to vote the vast majority of the time no matter how insane their position is. Is there not even one democrat who thinks letting men or boys into women's or girl's bathrooms is a bad idea? Neither Ossoff nor Warnock would ever vote for the Save Act even though GA supposedly already has Voter ID and Raffy swears no illegals are able to vote and we have record turn out.
We are the ones with minds of our own. You are the lemmings.
PS: I'm sure you heard the part of Paxtons speech that was put together especially by the "fake news" to feed your outrage.

Cornyn voted with Trump's positions 99.2% of the time. It's hard to find someone more loyal than that.flockofseagulls104 wrote: ↑Wed May 27, 2026 10:16 amIt's someone who tells us ( and lies about) what they're going to do when they're elected in order to get our vote, then goes along with the dems and the swamp when they get there.
Of course, if your source, like Flock's, is random twitter posts from anonymous users, then actual facts and statistics don't matter if they get in the way of the story you desperately want to hear.
I can guarantee you that next year, James Talarico will vote with Trump a heck of a lot less than Cornyn would have. But you'll still feel good about purging a RINO. Even if you didn't realize he was a RINO until Trump told you so by endorsing the other guy. Life is easy for people like Flock who don't have to think for themselves; they just listen to Trump.

I guess you all never heard of this, since fair and honest elections are not of interest to any of you. The House has passed the Save America Act, not once, but twice. Thune has refused to even bring up the Save America Act in the Senate, which will require a valid ID to establish who the f**k you are in order to cast a vote, and will release and require citizen data to be verified before anyone is allowed to vote in a federal election. Trump offered to endorse Cornyn if Thune would bring the Save America Act up for a vote. Paxton offered publicly to bow out of the race if Thune would bring the Save America Act up for a vote. DID YOU ALL KNOW THAT?Surveys indicate that 92% to 95% of Republicans support the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act. Nationwide, the legislation requires voters to provide documented proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote in federal elections.
Broad Concept Polling (71% - 83% Support): When asked about general election integrity measures—such as requiring government-issued photo identification or documented proof of U.S. citizenship to vote—support ranges between 71% and 83% across various surveys, including majorities of both Republicans and Democrats.
Neither of those things happened. In fact, Thune stuck his finger in Trump's eye, in 90% of republican's eyes, and in 80% of the American public's eyes. That's why Trump endorsed Paxton. To get ANOTHER RINO out of the Senate.

I am not a Paxton fan. Far from it. Not a Cornyn fan, either. Cornyn presents well, but performs poorly. We needed to break the incumbancy. Paxton has 6 years, if some other scandal doesn't get him first. He'll be easier to primary than an entrenched Cornyn. Also, Cornyn would make the entire 6 years. Maybe Paxton won't and we get to elect his replacement mid-term (Hunt?). Who knows?
I've seen what a nice clean looking Cornyn does for 24 years, and it is not what I want. So trying something new (but not pretty).

Grok is Twitter's AI. So Flock has now graduated from anonymous Twitter sources to Twitter's AI that relies on anonymous Twitter sources. And while there is support for the broad concepts SAVE is supposed to cover, once people know how the bill actually works, that support drops tremendously.flockofseagulls104 wrote: ↑Wed May 27, 2026 4:31 pmJust for your information, here's what Grok says about the Save America Act:

Wrong again, Maude. After the primary, where Paxton finished second to Cornyn, and Paxton was afraid that Trump would endorse Cornyn, he said he’d drop out if Thune could achieve the suspension of the filibuster rule in order to pass that bill. He knew, of course, that that was not going to happen. That was the smartest thing that I’ve ever seen Paxton do. He definitely knows how to ring Trump’s bell. It worked. After the primary, Trump had promised that he would endorse one of them “very soon,” and then he didn’t until the last minute when it was obvious to most knowledgeable observers that Paxton’s turnout was a lot higher than Cornyn’s. It wasn’t Trump’s endorsement that caused the outcome. The expected outcome is what caused the endorsement.flockofseagulls104 wrote: ↑Wed May 27, 2026 4:31 pmI guess you all never heard of this, since fair and honest elections are not of interest to any of you. Cornyn? Paxton? Texas is not my state anymore, and I know that I don't know what I don't know. You can elect who you want. All I know is that some people I have given some trust to indicate Cornyn stood in the way of passing the Save Act. That is my interest in this. Why he would do this when it is a 90-10 issue in his party is troubling.wbtravis007 wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2026 7:14 amPaxton unselfishly falling on his sword as a matter of principle?

That is one reason why I would go with Paxton. The main reason is travis seems to like Cornyn.

Re: Trump endorses Paxton
I would be glad to discuss GA politics with someone I could have a decent discussion with.silverscreenselect wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2026 11:02 amCheer up, Travis. Flock doesn't like to discuss Georgia politics either, and that's probably because he's embarrassed at his choices in the upcoming runoff election.flockofseagulls104 wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2026 10:05 amTexas is not my state anymore, and I know that I don't know what I don't know. Just so your feelings aren't hurt too much: It is wonderful that the main RINOs got beat - Rattburger, Sterling and Carr. If any of them got the nomination I would have to seriously look at what garbage your side nominated. But just for a couple of seconds before I had to puke, I'm sure.

I already said I voted for Paxton.flockofseagulls104 wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2026 10:05 amCornyn?
Usually people who are as naive as you are downright adorable.
That is one reason why I would go with Paxton. The main reason is travis seems to like Cornyn.

I'm sure you could have what you consider a decent discussion with either Burt Jones or Rick Jackson.flockofseagulls104 wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2026 11:25 amI would be glad to discuss GA politics with someone I could have a decent discussion with.
The rest of us would consider it a Donald Trump suck-up-fest.

Stephen Miller wrote:The Democrats made history in Texas by nominating their first transgender senate candidate.
Miller knows Talarico isn’t trans. He was trying to taunt the libs and he succeeded. As for the DNC, they responded as if calling Talarico trans is a horrible insult. Not a good look when you’re courting LGBT voters nationwide. Public opinion is nearly unanimous that the DNC is an embarrassment.DNC wrote:shut up you ugly fuck
