Suitguy is not bitter.
feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive
The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

Hold the phone there, biscuit...has anyone here ever heard of Newark (pronounced Noo-ARK), TX? I have. Maybe DK has as well, but I bet not many others have. It's about 15-20 miles WNW of our house. There may have been a hotel there at one time, but I guarantee there ain't never been no hotel there at a time people cudda been playing an Xbox. I highly doubt they have "escorts' there as well, unless you count Billy Joe Bob's Motorized Escort & Tow Truck Service Unlimited.
Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!
That'll be $10, please.
