Where the F* is Matt Lauer?

#1 Post by nitrah55 » Tue Apr 29, 2008 12:08 pm

The only time I pay any attention to the Today Show is this once-a-year stunt.

The clue for where he'll be tomorrow has me stumped:

"This country is an anagram of a synonym of a homophone of an even prime number."

The even prime number is "two," the homophone would be "too," the synonym...also...additionally...plus...

Anybody?

By the way, he was in Amsterdam today, so it's got to be someplace within striking distance of there. Of course, he was in Buenos Aires the day before, so he can cover a lot of territory in a day.
I am about 25% sure of this.

It's Laos. Which is funny because one of the local newspaper crosswords was on anagrammed place names and one of the clues was "Southeast Asian country too?" and the answer was LAOSALSO (Laos also).

This should put to rest any thoughts about me appearing on WoF.

Thank you.

So, I go to Wikipedia to see what I can see about Laos, and this is at the top of the page:

"Watch Matt Lauer on the NBC Today Show 4/30/2008 during his "Where in the World is Matt Lauer" segment."

I guess if I'm ever famous, I can check my Wiki page every day to see whether I'll be dead the next day.

Too bad he didn't go there before Linda Nguyen taped.

If there's ever a Book of BB Quotations, this belongs in it.
