I think they were watching The Simpsons Movie. And her cousins were visiting. My boys know better, because I will take away everything they value if they don't watch it.

She'll be just like her mom at LS--clueless!

One of the dirty ditties that was making the rounds at the playgrounds back in 1984 was the following:

I pledge allegiance to the flag
Michael Jackson is a fag
Pepsi Cola burned him up
Now he's drinking Seven-Up

So when Sister #2 starts pre-school that fall, guess what she begins reciting the first time they do the Pledge of Allegiance?

Yes, I grew up in the hoosier ghetto....

I can't think of the rest of the one Mini-me chants:

Coca-Cola went to town
Pepsi Cola knocked him down
Dr. Pepper picked him up
Now we're drinking 7 Up
7 Up has got the flu
Now we're drinking Mountain Dew
Mountain Dew went up the mountain
Now we're drinking from the fountain
(Something about the fountain being broke)
So now we're back to drinking Coke!

LOL. We had that one too, although I forgot the rest of it. I know the next line in my neck of the woods was:

Seven-Up tastes like hell,
now he's drinking ginger ale.

Heh. I'm surprised that one's still around.

Okay, so I asked her to sing the song for me rather than just hear her in the background, and it came out, "The ipsy ipsy spider climbed up the watt a sprout."

Sprout is a channel with a bunch of PBS Kids shows. Whew!

You forgot:

He used to play with little toys
Now he plays with little boys

My guess would be stuff like Scouts and summer camp, because those activities let you meet kids from other areas. I know I learned a lot of filthy songs in Girl Scouts. (Not officially, mind you!)
