I realize that he may not have intended that. Nevertheless, I had a pointy stick, so I poked him with it. It seemed like a good idea at the time.

I thought that he was being critical as well and was going to say something, but you made your comment and I think that you said everything that I wanted to say in a much nicer way.

It's an emoticon thingie: an eight and a right parenthesis is interpretted as a "Cool" emoticon. 8)

If you want a number ending in eight inside parentheses, you need to remember to add a space in between them. (28 )

What else is a pointy stick for?

Thanks for the support! I need it.

My last post has a weird thing...I wanted to put the number twenty-eight, but it is showing up as a 2 and a :)

I tried to edit and it still didn't work. I give up!

Baby is asleep. Better go check on him, huh?

Still no space between the 8 and the ) Should be like this:
(now 25 and 28 )
Or if that looks ugly because it's unbalanced, like this:
( now 25 and 28 )
And I know this is one of those things that nobody is going to remember until they see the results displayed. But then going back and editing should work

Thanks Marley & others. Prolly not that often I use the number 8 and () at the same time. It was frustrating though. I'll just leave it. :D

You have encountered inadvertent smiley code. It happens to the best of us.

Oh my word I can now see posts from a page 2 I couldn't see before (I usually can never get to page 2s when I reply to a post, unless I'm already on it) & they're all decoding your smiley bug. Smiley Bug will soon be squasherooed.

I will refrain from making comments about (S)miley Cyrus.

Last night really wasn't so bad, however, I think I slept with one eye open all night. After an all night, all day today babysitting marathon, I'm officially exhausted.

It's just 10:25 here, but I'm headed to bed. I never go to bed much before 1AM. Amazing what it takes out of you, especially when you're not used to it. I had two little ones just a tad below two years apart. I don't ever remember being this tired.
