It's an emoticon thingie: an eight and a right parenthesis is interpretted as a "Cool" emoticon.

If you want a number ending in eight inside parentheses, you need to remember to add a space in between them. (28 )

And I know this is one of those things that nobody is going to remember until they see the results displayed. But then going back and editing should work

Last night really wasn't so bad, however, I think I slept with one eye open all night. After an all night, all day today babysitting marathon, I'm officially exhausted.

It's just 10:25 here, but I'm headed to bed. I never go to bed much before 1AM. Amazing what it takes out of you, especially when you're not used to it. I had two little ones just a tad below two years apart. I don't ever remember being this tired.
