There is about 2 months of correspondence to be logged and filed, and some were overlooked, so abject apology letters and phone calls must be made.
Small team - Advocate, Deputy Advocate, Executive Director, Communications Manager, Executive Assistant, and myself and my co-worker Chris, the Intake Analysts. Very friendly group, and they are very impressed with the knowledge we have about senior issues. We are included in planning sessions and roundtables, and our opinions are asked and welcomed
Only problem working directly with management, is they don't have set hours, and we do LOL. I have been working on database topics with the E.D., and already have been at least 1/2 hour late leaving 3 times.
Our workstations are in the main area, and it is quite a change. For the past 3 years, we have been just us two in a closed room, with 5 empty work stations. (no more 1/2 hour nap sneaks for me
Tired at the end of the day, eye ache as I do need new glasses too, with all the reading of letters and computer work, but it is a good tired, not a bored tired. I think I am excited about work again.
