And while I'm not a fan of Adam Sandler's movies, I do find the Hanukkah songs entertaining.
Here's a real-life story that reminded me of that song:MarleysGh0st wrote:I've always liked Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer.
I heard this for the first time the other day and I thought it was Peter, Paul and Mary.littlebeast13 wrote:Barenaked Ladies & Sarah McLaughlin - "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" (Shoutout to Esto who Kroxed in my LSWE this the year before it made the Mecca CD! Absolutely love the bass in this one...)
There are a few other really good songs on that album. BNL even included 3 Hanukkah songs and a snippet of "Auld Lang Syne." "Hanukkah Blessings" is probably the best Hanukkah song that I've ever heard. They do an interesting version of "Jingle Bells," which includes the "Batman smells" line. Other stuff is a mixture of traditionals, silly ones and originals. I think it has something for everyone.littlebeast13 wrote:Barenaked Ladies & Sarah McLaughlin - "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" (Shoutout to Esto who Kroxed in my LSWE this the year before it made the Mecca CD!
