Baby Boy survived
and moved on.
It was not pretty and I was afraid we were going to repeat the melt down of yesterday.
Not quite - we were 4 Up with 5 to play. Ended winning 1 UP.
yikes

That subject line sounds like an infant fell down a well or something.

sprots' little rant about the reporters not knowing the difference between cite-site-sight and write-right-rite reminded me.
The word is HALF the hole, not HAVE the hole. Is HALF a word that is pronounced differently in other parts of the country?

Well, you're taking some phrase out of context without providing a link, and neither choice made any sense.peacock2121 wrote:You boys are cute when you can't talk golf.
And, as I've said before, I retired from golf when I realized that I must be twice as good as the pros, since my score is twice as high.

Why do they say HAVE!?!
That is even more bad than thinking it's half and saying have.

Then if you had put that have/half comment in that one, there would have been context!
<sigh>
And I'm not going to sit in the corner, just because your posts are confusing!

They are not saying "have" they are saying "halve". Since they sound pretty much the same,(well, maybe exactly) I can understand why you think they are saying "have".peacock2121 wrote:Why do they say HAVE!?!
