We have a house guest today, name of Kennebec -- I'm sure she's part greyhound because she is so fast! Also, she has greyhound lines except not so thin.
However, she likes the snow and has blue eyes, so she's almost certainly part husky too.
The reason she's our houseguest is because we have a fenced yard that will keep her in while her Mom is in Iowa and Dad is on a 24-hour shift saving lives and property, thereby saving a trip to the animal shelter where the staff has various names for her, one of which is not Kennebec . . .
Anyway, to get to the point, and I do have one -- if we were at the dog beach with Kennebec, she would be on a leash also.
Casey would be on the picnic blanket with PSMFamily if she thought she could cadge a treat or two . . .
