Senators needed. Apply within.

#1 Post by ne1410s » Wed Nov 05, 2008 4:38 pm

Obama and Biden need replacements.

Illinois: Jesse Jackson jr? Don't think so. Rahm Emmanuel? Got a better offer. Tammy Duckworth? Might just work.

Delaware: Beau Biden? Hard to vote from Iraq. 'at's all I gots.

For the Delaware opening, my money is on outgoing Lt. Governor John Carney.

He lost the Democratic primary for Governor by a razor-thin margin to Governor-elect Jack Markell, the state treasurer.

Outgoing Governor Ruth Ann Minner (term limited) is also a Democrat.

It's all his fault. That'll be $10.

I know you got the inside scoop up there, but why not Jackson? I don't know much about him, but he's in with Daley's machine, right?
Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!

That'll be $10, please.

And please, please, please don't let Blagojevich appoint himself.

Of the choices I've seen for Illinois, I like Mr. Claybourne the best.

Here's a pretty good rehash of the current buzz:
