Damning with faint praise (political)
Former Secretary of State Lawrence Eagleburger, a prominent McCain supporter, was asked whether Governor Palin was ready to step in as President should that be needed. His answer: "Of course not." He went on to say that with some time in the office she could be "adequate." Audio is available at the link. --Bob

Miss Informed, will you be looking for a running mate in '12? I think I'll be avilable since this campaign with Beebs hasn't gotten off the ground since we entrusted that NAP guy to run it.....Miss Informed wrote:He wasn't ready when he ran 20 years ago, and he's not ready now, goshdarnit!silvercamaro wrote:So, who here thinks Joe Biden is ready to step in as president?

I'll agree Palin is less qualified to be president than Biden. But she is as or more qualified than Obama. She's not running for president, but Obama is. Qualifications just don't matter to Obama supporters.

The data was quite consistent and supported the hypothesis.Miss Informed wrote: "If the data does not support your hypothesis, change the data"!

I know what matters to MY supporters: middle names!
I wish Johnny's was something more manly than Sidney, but at least it's a Real American name!As Palin wound down her remarks, a group in the rear of the audience began a noisy chant of "John McCain! Not Hussein!"

dont worry, if President McCain becomes incapacitated, Al Haig will take over.
I heard one of sarahs supporters at her latest rally here say that she supported sarah because she is better educated than obama .
she did attend more colleges
