Hmmm, sort of a raspberry color, I think.

Don't worry, I bring my own FurRemover brush.

Sometimes I even have to use it to bonk insolent doggies on the head....

Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.

Annie isn't insolent. She's opinionated.

Lizbit is insolent.

Did your company leave?
This chat is hard to keep up with. Yes, they left about 10:30 this morning. After doing laundry and steam cleaning the kitchen floor, I took about a 2 hr nap. I was exhausted. It was a nice visit and we all had a good time. But it was exhausting.

Something new I'd never heard of (and would never consume)
is Sweet Tea Vodka. Apparently it "sneaks up" on those who do consume it.
It's a southern thing - I just checked it out and it's produced in South Carolina.

Oh, my. I haven't heard about this. It does sound dangerous. Is vodka used to make Long Island Iced Tea?

I think I would like the muscadine vodka better. I bought muscadine wine at at an Arkansas vinyard long ago, and it was reasonably good.

Dunno, cause I've never had one. Here's a recipe I looked up. Appears it has everything but iced tea in it!!!

Long Island Iced Tea

1 part vodka
1 part 1800® Tequila
1 part rum
1 part gin
1 part triple sec
1 1/2 parts sweet and sour mix
1 splash Coca-Cola®

Mix ingredients together over ice in a glass. Pour into a shaker and give one brisk shake. Pour back into the glass and make sure there is a touch of fizz at the top. Garnish with lemon.

Good heavens. That's not a drink. That's a liquid coma.

LOL, it does look potent doesn't it?

Probably wouldn't have a bit of trouble sleeping after a couple of those. One would put
me completely under the table!

All this mixology talk spurred me to go make nachos.

Okay, being hungry drove me to the nachos.

Do you have an adult beverage to go with those nachos?

Yes. It's one of the ingredients in liquid coma -- Coca Cola.

Who made french toast, and why didn't anybody offer some to me?
I made Paula Deen's recipe for baked French toast for my guests this weekend.
I wish I would have known! I don't know from Paula Deen, but I do have the recipe for the World's Greatest French Toast!
