And of course, the "experts" they're talking to on the news this morning are claiming it's racist, because of the all-white jury. You can bet that'll be part of the appeal claims, but called something else.
I want Marsha Clark's reaction, and the other idiot prosecutor from the murder trial who couldn't figure out that a leather glove soaked in blood and left to dry for over a year wasn't going to fit ANYONE trying it on over a pair of latex gloves.

The defense really was genius. I believe that Clark let herself be overwhelmed by detail. Or she let Gil Garcetti overwhelm her, I don't know. Somebody found those Bruno Mali shoes, her team should have. Thousandaire says there was anti-swelling medication, they shoulda found out about that too. I also think they let themselves fall victim to the Lawn Order syndrome, where they felt rushed all the time because the investigation and trial wrap up in an hour on television. Those shows and the CSIs do no service to juries, who have come to believe that they can have it all -- DNA testing, substance analysis, and on and on, even where such evidence isn't part of the case.
Don't get me started on the star-struck judge.
I am very happy that Simpson was convicted this time, not so happy it took 13 years to put him behind bars. I guess justice is blind . . . and patient.

Great point Uly. I also agree with SportsFan that Ito was a star struck idiot who let Johnny Cochrane run the trial. The prosecution was also to blame. Instead of just presenting the DNA evidence, they tried to teach DNA analysis to the jury. That's what you have experts for!
Anyway, I hope Fred and Kim Goldman can finally get some peace.
