O.J. found guilty

On all charges.

Note:
The jury deliberated for 13 hours. It was the 13th anniversary of his murder acquittal.

This is a blatant miscarriage of justice! Dammit, I paid my attorneys a lot of money for this not to happen!

I sure hope I can still post from the Big House....

And of course, the "experts" they're talking to on the news this morning are claiming it's racist, because of the all-white jury. You can bet that'll be part of the appeal claims, but called something else.

I want Marsha Clark's reaction, and the other idiot prosecutor from the murder trial who couldn't figure out that a leather glove soaked in blood and left to dry for over a year wasn't going to fit ANYONE trying it on over a pair of latex gloves.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

You don't have any money - remember - you can't pay off the judgment from the civil suit.

Are you sure it was really 13 hours? Did they stop for lunch breaks?

I wonder if he had a chance to cast an early absentee ballot before the verdict?

OJ sure likes my birthday. The first verdict was on my birthday and this one a day later.

Hopefully, he never sees the outside world again.

But how will he ever find the real killer of his wife if he is behind bars.

If he's in solitary.....he'll be sharing his cell with the real killer.

Not only that but it turns out he stopped taking a medication that reduced swelling in his hands.

The defense really was genius. The attorneys were showboating all over the place while they were quietly putting things in place to make sure that the jury had a door to walk through to acquittal.

I believe that Clark let herself be overwhelmed by detail. Or she let Gil Garcetti overwhelm her, I don't know. Somebody found those Bruno Mali shoes, her team should have. Thousandaire says there was anti-swelling medication, they shoulda found out about that too. I also think they let themselves fall victim to the Lawn Order syndrome, where they felt rushed all the time because the investigation and trial wrap up in an hour on television. Those shows and the CSIs do no service to juries, who have come to believe that they can have it all -- DNA testing, substance analysis, and on and on, even where such evidence isn't part of the case.

Don't get me started on the star-struck judge.

I am very happy that Simpson was convicted this time, not so happy it took 13 years to put him behind bars. I guess justice is blind . . . and patient.

Great point Uly. I also agree with SportsFan that Ito was a star struck idiot who let Johnny Cochrane run the trial. The prosecution was also to blame. Instead of just presenting the DNA evidence, they tried to teach DNA analysis to the jury. That's what you have experts for!

Anyway, I hope Fred and Kim Goldman can finally get some peace.

Reminds me of the Al Capone Tax evasion conviction. It ain't what he should be in for but he's in and that's better than him being out.
