At least, according to a McCain adviser.

Both claims, of course, are misrepresentations, but I expect GOP'ers to spin like crazy and make a distinction as to why Gore should have been made fun of and McCain should not.

I expect the Dems' spinners to do the same, just in the opposite direction.
Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!

That'll be $10, please.

Seems like the "Gore shouldn't be made fun of" bus has left the station, correct though it may be. (Not that I don't think Gore shouldn't be made fun of, but there are lots of things to make fun of him for that are fair.)

Well, it seems like the issue already is dead.

McCain did not make the statement (unlike Gore), and he already laughed and dismissed the contention by another person.

I guess that "TanningBed-Gate" has lost its sizzle, so we need to jump on this bit of breaking news.

TLTF raises the crucial point on these "attacks." They only work if they reinforce one's existing perception of the candidate. If they do not agree with the previous perception, then they are ignored. Look at what has and has not stuck to Obama/Biden/McCain/Palin/Clinton and you can see it play out.

I was just having some fun- I have equal disdain for each of the two main candidates for President.

I invented home computing.
