30. THE CARS-THE CARS (1978)
One of the best debut albums of all time. Insanely catchy Pop-Rock/New Wave gems. Even my least favorite song on the record,
"I'm In Touch With Your World" is not completely terrible. Well, OK, pretty close, though.
Just a fun, fun album.

In 1979 my college roommate ridiculed be as being "punk" because I liked the Cars. He was a die-hard Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, Jethro Tull guy. Several years later he had several Cars albums in his collection.

The Cars kept the sound going for a few more albums before running out of steam in the 90s. Their debut album is a gem and I'm happy to see it so high up on your list.
