... and in either case he needs to be detained. This is one major problem I have with TSA screenings -- if they find a lot of contraband, don't just confiscate it and let the person go. Charge them with something instead and hold them for awhile.

Why would they stop the traveler for what the man did? I'd be pissed if I were that traveler. Huh? Oh, they are one in the same? Well, that makes sense now, but the writing is horrible.A traveler at BWI was stopped when authorities say a man attempted to carry on multiple prohibited items through security including a hatchet and smoke grenades.
