... and in either case he needs to be detained. This is one major problem I have with TSA screenings -- if they find a lot of contraband, don't just confiscate it and let the person go. Charge them with something instead and hold them for awhile.

I can buy forgetting about one or two items, but this much stuff? Heck, some of it technically can't go in checked luggage, even!

A traveler at BWI was stopped when authorities say a man attempted to carry on multiple prohibited items through security including a hatchet and smoke grenades.
Why would they stop the traveler for what the man did? I'd be pissed if I were that traveler. Huh? Oh, they are one in the same? Well, that makes sense now, but the writing is horrible.
