This is the first of 7 daily video-diary blog entries by a guy who eats only Monkey Chow. I found it enjoyable to watch.

I skipped ahead to the final episode:

I think he shows a lot of personal growth during the week and gains some good insight, especially the realization that "if you only acted on your good ideas, you wouldn't do much at all."

I wonder why he never washed down the chow with water. It seems as if that might have helped. Or maybe it was the kind of monkey chow that's supposed to be eaten from a bowl after it makes its own gravy.

Spoiler
Well, day 6 was entertaining and I enjoyed the little note from the monkey at the end of that day. But day 5 and the canned monkey food was the best!

Canada, eh? I suppose this shouldn't surprise me given its the land of Dan Akroyd and Mike Myers.

I'm pretty sure that the Monkey Chow Diaries were made last Summer.

That would explain why he played softball twice that week.

But it's cool how he notes that he hadn't developed any super-monkey-powers!

Oh no, Ed! It makes much more sense if you watch all seven episodes in order.

He establishes on Day 2 (or was it Day 3?) what the rules of the experiment were. He can only eat Monkey Chow, but he can drink water, black coffee (to stay awake), and vodka (to fall asleep). In one brilliant stroke of genius, he combines the vodka and one kibble of Monkey Chow for an unforgettable breakfast cocktail.
