I skipped ahead to the final episode:

I think he shows a lot of personal growth during the week and gains some good insight, especially the realization that "if you only acted on your good ideas, you wouldn't do much at all."
I wonder why he never washed down the chow with water. It seems as if that might have helped. Or maybe it was the kind of monkey chow that's supposed to be eaten from a bowl after it makes its own gravy.

Spoiler
Well, day 6 was entertaining and I enjoyed the little note from the monkey at the end of that day. But day 5 and the canned monkey food was the best!
Must be those long winters...

Oh no, Ed! It makes much more sense if you watch all seven episodes in order.TheConfessor wrote:I wonder why he never washed down the chow with water. It seems as if that might have helped. Or maybe it was the kind of monkey chow that's supposed to be eaten from a bowl after it makes its own gravy.
He establishes on Day 2 (or was it Day 3?) what the rules of the experiment were. He can only eat Monkey Chow, but he can drink water, black coffee (to stay awake), and vodka (to fall asleep). In one brilliant stroke of genius, he combines the vodka and one kibble of Monkey Chow for an unforgettable breakfast cocktail.
