Maybe we'll be hearing about a new family pet soon. Maybe.....

It is awful that they have to go through that...but wonderful that they have friends like you!!

I had a little scare this year where I thought for sure I had lymphoma...and so did my doctors. But after CT scans of my whole body, along with every blood test known to man, apparently I have random and freakish swollen lymph nodes that are not indicative of any serious problem.

So I have a new appreciation for people who go through it. I hope that if anything like that ever does happen that I can channel the same strength that I've seen in others during such tough times.

Happy birthday early. I'll start looking for a fabu cake to post for you. :)
Maddie's birthday was on Sunday. I can't believe that I have a 15 year old!

For my birthday, Jeff is going to go play with Greyhounds at Hemopet with me.

My friends and I are also surprising our friend with cancer. We have been frantically putting together a scrapbook for her because she starts her second round of chemo next week. (Her hair is going to fall out!) She thinks that a group of us are coming to see her to celebrate my birthday, but instead we are presenting her with the scrapbook. I just have to get it finished tonight. She has a blog about what is going on and I thought that it would be nice if she had all of the comments saved in the scrapbook, so she can read them later on.

I usually hate birthdays because it's so close to the time that my Dad died, but I think that this one is going to be ok.
Sounds like it will be, despite the unfortunate anniversary.

That is a very good thing to do for a friend.

I'm looking forward to seeing Kay's cake!

Speaking of 19 (or more) posts, shouldn't LB be compiling?

Miss Sunflower, what a terribly scary thing to go through. I am so very glad that the problem did not turn out to be so dire.

Thank you Annie! Me too!

Now I just need to ignore it when they swell up and fight the urge to go to the doctor. It's bizarre but I guess it's my "normal".

That would be terribly frightening. I'm glad you checked out fine.

I've had a scare or two that I wouldn't want to repeat. It's definitely not fun.

From now on, when I am not logged in, you will only be able to post once per hour.

That will teach you to conserve precious posts..... :P

Neither one of you will be dead last because you are both playing. I was so pleased that you are playing, btw, Christie.

I was going to put that in quotes because it seems like a famous quotation from some deep thinking sage. Then again, I might have just made it up. But it sounds good, huh?

Now I have lots of typing to do to post today's game. Hopefully without errors. Ha!

Did you want me to scare everyone off? I was playing catch up and needed people to talk to me at the time.
