They finally figured out at work that this is a Message Board. I'm posting this from the Apple Store.
I'll have to figure out how this will affect the QoD.

I think you meant employers, so I'm answering as if that's what you said.peacock2121 wrote:I do wonder how employees would react if they could see how much time many of us spend on the bored during 'work hours'.
I think they would react how Cal's and my Big Boss reacted -- limited access to message boards and other recreational sites like ESPN. I'm guessing that at our organization, PHPBB sites got a blanket block. I still have Yahoo, and I'm sure that's safe. A small local organization my boss belongs to uses a Yahoo group to keep everybody updated. I had to laugh when I joined up; it wanted me to use jeanluc1976.
I've seen three employees playing solitaire in the past month or so -- I bet that's next on the chopping block.

When I had dialup, I'd keep a game of video poker minimized so I could play it while I was getting my email or downloading a big file. Now I have cable, so I keep one window open to Prison Throw to play in between other stuff.
I would last approximately 3 seconds in a corporate environment. I need an outlet for my excess whatever it is that makes me need to multislack..
