Person behind me at Wicked

#1 Post by geoffil » Sun Aug 31, 2008 7:31 pm

I went to see the musical Wicked today. Sitting behind me was a mother with a down's syndrome 11 year old girl. The girl, Voilet, kept pulling my hair, touching my back, kicking my chair and making all kinds of sounds. I didn't say anything because I didn't think it was appropriate.

During the musical, I took a pretzel out of the package and the child's mom hit me (too hard) in my back and said "Stop making noise with your pretzel." I couldn't believe it. I was giving her a little slack because of her daughter and she was so rude.

I ate another pretzel and enjoyed both the musical and pretzels.

I suppose throwing a bucket of water on her was out of the question.

It sounds like her husband could have been the person Fuzzy ran into in England. Sheesh..... Sorry you had to go through that though.
