Thank you John McCain...

for bringing Sex back to Washington! This is a city better known for Mary Todd Lincoln, Bess Truman and Barbara Bush. Now we can have a VP to compete with the likes of Paris Hilton and Brittney Spears! :P

I just forwarded my resume to the McCain Camp applying for a potential intern position. Like Monica, I too am a Jewish American. And despite my advanced age, I am still kind of cute and fuzzy, emphasis on the "fuzzy".
At least you'll know 3 years from now when Sarah says "I didn't have sex with that MAWG", that she is absolutely telling the truth!
Unlike the old days of Disco, now I have to go all the way to DC to strike out again! :?

I meant good sex, not the tap, tap, tap of the feet in the stall next to you.

One thing for sure, McCain can't talk about Obama's youth and inexperience anymore.

Why can't he?

Inexperienced Palin would only be the VP (after 8 years of Cheney, I think Americans might be ready for a VP content to fade into the background).

Inexperienced Obama would BE the President.

If anything, Palin is insulated from being attacked for her lack of experience by obama's relative inexperience.

Only drawback of this pick is what melly pointed out- McCain is now going to have to introduce this person to everyone. No one knows who she is.

CNBC news flash! Pfizer stock is on a roll, sales of Viagra have increased greatly following Palin's nomination as Veep! She is a MAWG and Senior White Guy's Dream Girl...not since Karen Lynn Gorney stepped on the dance floor with Travolta has Sex been given such a big boost!

The people who know who she is are already attacking her as being anti-woman's rights.

See, people keep saying it, like it is true.

If even Obama's own VP choice thinks that Obama is nowhere near ready to be President (as you will see and hear next week and throughout the rest of the campaign), then why wouldn't McCain agree?

One must be careful about attacking Palin's "inexperience", in that executive office position's are a 24/7 job. You might be hearing how Obama actually has only served roughly a half-year in his Senatorial duties, with most of his time being spent with the senate out of session and campaigning.

Perception is everything. Which version will the public believe?

Pluis, you do not think that Palin stands out as the only non-Senator in the election, making many of the same budget decisions et al as must a Presdient?

Let's translate that. "Sarah Palin is Pro-Life"
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

So how many of Hillary's supporters will she attract? Probably less than zero.

That cover makes her look scary.

I like the picture I posted in the other thread better- shows her looking both professional and beautiful (a combination I personally find more attractive).

No. It opens McCain up to a charge of hypocrisy.

The most important qualification of any Vice President is readiness to be President. McCain's campaign has been saying for weeks that Obama's relative youth and lack of experience leave him unready to be President. How, then, can he turn around and tell the American people that he's willing to put the one-term governor of Alaska -- someone who two years ago had never held any elective position above Mayor of Wasilla, Alaska -- one heartbeat from the Presidency? Was he lying before when he said Obama didn't have enough experience to be President? Or is he lying now when he says (by implication) that Palin does?

The answer is simple, if sad. McCain and the Republican Party have decided to practice identity-group politics. Palin was selected over other conservatives with substantially heftier resumes because she is a woman. McCain is hoping to peel off some of Hillary's voters. --Bob

Really? Is that why the latest polls showed that 27% of Hillary supporters were leaning towards voting McCain BEFORE this pick?

I don't see how anyone can claim she is anti-feminist. Would it have appeased the Molechs on the left if she had aborted her child with Downs syndrome?

So McCain picked Tina Fey? Has Alec Baldwin been alerted? And if she wins, will he threaten/promise to leave the country again?

I'm pretty turned on by Tina Fey, too.

Don't know where some people got this idea she was geeky but not gorgeous.
