I'm all done.

#1 Post by AnnieCamaro » Thu Aug 28, 2008 2:27 pm

I just got back from my last trip to Oklahoma City to see Dr. Susan, my surgeon who didn't have to do surgery to fix me, and Miss Julie, that wonderful vet tech who likes me a lot. Since I have skin everywhere again, and even more fur is getting ready to grow, I don't have to go back ever again. That makes me kind of sad, because I really liked riding in the car that far, and I will miss being their favorite patient. On the other hand, I can still be Dr. David's favorite patient, closer to home, but I'm only going to see him for regular stuff like toenails and shots.

I've decided not to get hurt any more. I'm all done with that.

Lizbit is real happy. She did not like being left home alone when my mom drove me to the city. I always told her to watch Animal Planet or read a book while we were gone, but she never did. She is such a baby.

Does this mean I can throw stuff at you again?

Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.

Seriously though, I'm glad you're all better Annie.

And don't worry about Lizbit. We like to chase each other around the house when you're both gone and tear stuff up. I wish you were as fun as your sister...

This news makes me very, very happy! Lots of virtual scritches coming your way. My Lola is knocked up (she's kinda loose, not quite the lady you are) and if she has a girl, may I name her after you?

This is Most Excellent news. I am delighted to hear it.

There are way too insufficient canines and felines at this household, so I am delighted to read GoodPuppyNews about a four-footer I care about. This household can't have a doggie because of the fence situation, of which there will be none, but there was always a kittycat. That's become very difficult since the kids are grown and gone -- before, when my buddies would take off for parts unknown, the kids would watch the cats. Now, with both kids living more than 30 minutes away, it's not fair to the cats.

So I'll join up with the other folkses who are giving Annie scritches.

This is such good news, Annie! You are a charming young lady, and one of the sweetest members of this Bored.

Congratulations to you, and I'm sure you can talk your mom into the occasional spin in the car. You need to go to Petsmart at least once a week, don't you?

missanniecamaro --

My Pretty Lady told me you were all better. This makes me very happy.

I am so sorry that I didn't get here sooner to tell you that.

But, I needed to finish my dual end-of-summer mission of monitoring the backyard squirrel families and counting the birds at the honeysuckle vine. I do this every year and My Boonie needs this information.

I am very happy because we need you for our opera.
