Dancing with the Stars Thread

#1 Post by christie1111 » Tue Nov 06, 2007 8:16 am

I don't know about you guys but.....

Spoiler
Mel B rocked that dance she did in the black duster and underpants! That was incredible. Interesting side note: my late sister-in-law new Mel before she was a Spice Girl when they were in school together.

They are rating Jane Seymour much higher than she deserves.

Marie Osmond is doing much better than I though she would. And has lost a noticable amount of weight. I suspect some of the contestants sign on for the weight loss performance part of the show.

I'm unspoiling part of your spoiler up there!

There was an article in People featuring Cheryl and Maksim demonstrating dance moves and detailing which parts of the body they would tone. Evidently, holding in your stomach tightens your abs AND helps you keep your balance. Double bonus!

Middle-aged guys have known this for centuries. Constantly walking around holding your breath works well, too. And don't forget the obvious benefits of Speedos.

I'm getting sick of these sob stories from Dr. Quinn. Her "I'm glad we got to honor them is this way," or whatever she said about Johnny Cash (and June), was pretty shameless in my book.

I hope they send her sappy you-know-what to the showers tonight.

Forgot to mention that her partner bugs me, too. What's up with the teeth?

I'm guessing the sob-story angle will come from Marie tonight. as she lost her father today. (RIP) Too late to affect the voting, however.

Goodness gracious. Jane lost her mother a few weeks back. (By the way, I wasn't including that in her sob stories that I mentioned.)

I guess I'd better check with my parents before I try to get them to pick me as one of the stars for the next round.

Hey! Don't laugh! How many of the this last group did y'all not know? A few of them I still don't know.

Good!
