top o' the mornin'®

#1 Post by earendel » Wed Aug 27, 2008 9:00 am

It's been a hectic morning around here - we have six (6!!) new employees scheduled to start on Tuesday and everyone's running around trying to find cubicles for them to use. So I've been going from place to place trying to make sure that all of the vacant cubicles have LAN connections, telephone connections, power connections, and that if there's any unnecessary equipment that it's moved out. I've also had to clean out a cabinet that the boss wants to get rid of (I used it for storing software from our old computers since no one could tell me how to dispose of it properly; it's Windows/Office 2000 stuff). So right now I've got lots of dust on me and in me.

Sheesh, your new people get cubicles? I've been working for _TPTB_ for years now and still haven't made it out of the broom closet....

There's an obvious comment here, but I won't say it. That's Larry Craig's job.

Can you stop by my place tonight and install a cable box?
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.
