EM:HE in the Finger Lakes

#1 Post by MarleysGh0st » Tue Aug 26, 2008 12:05 pm

Ty Pennington and his crew unveiled another refurbished house in Geneva (at the north end of Seneca Lake, one lake over from here) yesterday.

GENEVA — Aleem "Hammer" Whitfield literally flipped Monday when he saw the new house built for his family by the television show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

In fact, the boxer flipped a second time to make sure the camera crew got a good shot of his trademark maneuver to use when the show about the project airs in November.
That's what I love about reality TV: it's so real! :P

We used to fish on Seneca Lake when we lived in Fairport. Once we got caught in a sleet storm while out in the boat in the middle of the freezing water.
Well, then

What sort of tragic story does Aleem Whitfield have?

Read the article.

I think it was more of a do-gooder story than a sob story, though.

Whoa, that was weird. I could've sworn that Jasper just posted in this thread.

He did, but he didn't mean to.
