Oh, I'm sorry, Annie! I did indeed specify noon eastern time in the rules. If you had just gotten your post in before mine (just one minute sooner) I could accept it, but rules are rules.AnnieCamaro wrote:Oops. Now I posted, but I see I'm too late. My computer clock says it's 11:59 right now, but Mr. Marley must be in a different time zone.
It's okay. I'll get more questions right during the rest of the month.
I still feel bad about this! It wouldn't have happend if I had gone for a walk at lunchtime instead of coming in a little earlier to update these scores.

Don't feel bad, Mr. Marley. I've been trying to teach my baby sister Lizbit about the importance of rules, so I will show her this as a Teaching Moment.MarleysGh0st wrote:

And, if there's ever another time when I worry I might be close to a deadline, I won't proofread.

Mr. Uly, I don't look at other people's answers until I've submitted mine. I'm not that kind of girl.ulysses5019 wrote:

Oh, heck! What's the point of wielding all this power as QoD Meister if I can't overrule my own rules?AnnieCamaro wrote:Mr. Uly, I don't look at other people's answers until I've submitted mine. I'm not that kind of girl.ulysses5019 wrote:

Or maybe someone's been fiddling with the clock on your lapatop.......

Squirrels are the architects of forests, the planters of trees, nature's own acrobats and show a zest for life that can inspire us. Every day should be National Squirrel Appreciation Day!

Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.

I guess I just pulled a number out of thin air, which is never very funny. How would you answer a question asking for a year in attempts to draw a chuckle or two?

Ignoring the stated rules infraction on Marley! Everyone knows you may tweak the rules with the permission of Commissioner Goodell, the League Sponsors, or to help out a Most Favored Team, but...
Wait a minute, I am getting a message from the booth! It appears that AnnieCamaro is a Most Favored Team, as that is why the Commissioner went through all the trouble to destroy all the illegal videotapes her scout Evil Squirrel made of all the other QoD players' practices.
There is no foul on the play. Still whatever down! Television Timeout!

If the QoD should suddenly go quiet this month, it's because I've run off with Annie to do a Grapehounds tour.

He should get negative 13 points because we are in Rome, not Greece. Ha!MarleysGh0st wrote:LookingForHumorPoints = 6.666 (A solid effort today, except I didn't get the humor in your 5019 answer. If you have to explain the joke...)
Then he should get 33 positive points because jbg doesn't recognize humour points and Butch knocked it out of the park on the Weekend QOD.
Spoiler
I'm darned good and ready.
