Trapper Keepers RULED!!!!!!

All supply lists clearly state NO TRAPPER KEEPERS!!!!! I suppose the 80's were unkind to teachers.
Ours also say this.

I did not understand why.

But you can reach into the stack and pull out what you want quickly, right? I'm physically disorganized but mentally organized, so I can find stuff in the disaster that is my desk. I suppose I can ditch last year's school papers now...

Rain Man can tell me when we went to WDW, what airline we took, and which hotel we stayed in. We've gone 21 times. At least he doesn't remember the room numbers...

I remember which room number we stayed in during our first three trips to Paducah in 1982, 84, and 86.... of course, that was because of the coincidence that we got the same room each time.

I remember which room I stayed in at The Empire too. There is a baseboard missing somewhere in Room 607, assuming the dump's still standing.....

The thing I love about staying at the MGM Grand is that I don't have to remember what wing or hallway or any of that jive. Last time I stayed there my personal map was "Grab the elevator by Humphrey Bogart, get off on the Cary Grant floor and hang a right at Ava Gardner".

We seriously need a group trip to Vegas. *sigh*

MGM Grand still has coin slots on some slot machines. I like that...

My five start in five days, 21 hours, and 22 minutes. Not that I'm counting.

The last time I was by there they were reconstructing it.

Most of the time it's what I prefer. But when you are down to 25 cents in credits and it's a three-credit machine and you just want to add the two quarters instead of another whole dollar...

Oh, OK.

The coin acceptors aren't any of my concern. ;)

TITO rules for us Georgers, but only if that casino also has self service cash out machines. I hate asking for small change from the cashiers....

Believe me, on the slots it's almost always going in and not coming out...

The MGM Grand was the first place where I got scrip from the machine. As well as one of the only ones, but I haven't been to Vegas in a couple of years. I personally like it because I have a severe problem hitting the 'cash out'. I justify it by saying I don't want to sit and wait for it to dump, then have to wait for the attendant to fill the hopper, then haul around a couple buckets of coin.

When I do manage to cash out, I just start feeding the coins in again (just one more, I'm sure the next one is going to hit!). With the scrip, I can have a moment of strength, hurry and hit the cash out and then I can't do anything about it until I turn it in at the cage.
