I was generous with the various spellings of Capitoline.

2713 was the year AUC, calculating from the traditional date for the founding of Rome in 753 BC. Yes, I took a WWOQ and went easy on you with some well-spaced-out choices. The other choices also happened to be relevant. 1379(-1380) was the year in the Islamic calendar, 5720(-5721) in the Hebrew calendar and 7468(-7469) in the Byzantine calendar.

Cornmeal. Wintergreen included that answer in a lengthier discussion about historical usages before the introduction of maize to Europe, but nowadays, it's corn.

In my family, though, polenta will always be known as mamaliga.
