I think what triggered it, besides the delay of my review (for which he apologized), was a recent customer audit that went very well. Small customer of ours, but big company, with a potential to be much bigger for us. They were very interested in our upcoming expansion, and very impressed with our quality system. When the expansion is done, they may become a very nice chunk of business.

Maybe I should wake up that cat ...
