Woo Hoo!! and good luck.
Suitguy is not bitter.
feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive
The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

Congratulations! As always, if you'd like a PAF with (*ahem*) a modicum of experience, I'd be more than happy to help.
Good luck, and have a great time! --Bob

Congrats!!!!
First and foremost - enjoy the experience - drink it in - your time in the hot seat will go so fast and there is so much more to it - so have fun and take it all in!
Good luck and let us know when you have an air date!

1st & foremost, GO SEE THE SHOW BEING FILMED IN ITS NEW FASTER FORMAT SO YOU WILL KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT. If they even allow you to do that, that is.
Preferably do not do this the day before you tape. I forget if you live local to NYC; if you don't, maybe you can get someone who does to very informally, & certainly not on this board where TPTB can see it, tell you how it all goes down. Just reading about it is not by itself necessarily the best way to warn yourself.
