Happy National Underwear Day!

#1 Post by KillerTomato » Mon Aug 11, 2008 8:27 am

According to my "Reasons to Drink" widget on iGoogle, it's National Underwear Day, so break out those thongs, underoos, jockeys and boxers and wear 'em proudly!
There is something wrong in a government where they who do the most have the least. There is something wrong when honesty wears a rag, and rascality a robe; when the loving, the tender, eat a crust while the infamous sit at banquets.

Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

Are you wearing seersucker underoos? And do flying monkeys wear anything besides a vest and old Shriner's fez?

Well at least we know what to get for you.

That's what I was going to say!

I guess I was born a week too early -- but my birthday last week was underwear day for me

I figured it's a good tradition to buy new underwear on your birthday -- that way, you know you have new undies at least once a year!
