RIP Bernie Mac

#1 Post by JBillyGirl » Sat Aug 09, 2008 7:28 am

Bernie Mac died today at the age of 50 after being hospitalized for pneumonia. Not many details yet. Kinda shocking, given his age.

Damn. Just... damn.

I knew he had been ill for the last couple of years, but I didn't think it was that serious.

Damn.

I didn't know he was ill. He was so funny and so young.

This was a shock to me. He was a very funny performer, and he will be missed.

He had sarcoidosis, which I'd forgotten was what killed Reggie White (although I remembered apnea as part of the problem with him).

This article is from 2005.

If Terrence Howard isn't incentive enough, Bernie Mac will make you want to watch the formulaic movie "Pride".

Very horrible, but I guess its good he finally got to have his time in the sun of fame if his life was to be so short.
