Tully NY is outside of Syracuse. If this doesn't get you choked up a bit and smiling...

Choked up a bit? I had tears in my eyes before the cross country couch said, "I'll be right there." As the mother of a former runner, I've been needing a distance dog to cheer for. Lopez has my cheers and my heart.

Choked up a bit? My face is still wet.

A wonderful story! I'll be watching this young man with tears in my eyes.

Thanks for posting the link.

Another great part of this is that he's a refugee from Darfur, and a member of the group which is trying to make sure people know what's going on there.

The Chinese have clout with the Sudan government, and have done nothing to pressure them to stop the genocide.

The US athletes knew what they were doing when they made him flag-bearer.
I am about 25% sure of this.
