No outside sources allowed. Just take your best guess.

Spoiler
1. Finnish-American architect Eero Saarinen designed what 630 foot high, 630 foot wide monument?
Given the theme and the description I will guess the Gateway Arch.

2. What is the atomic number of Beryllium?
4 representing 1904 I presume.

3. What movie, directed by Vincente Minnelli and starring Judy Garland, tells the story of a family that is saddened that an impending move to New York might make them miss the World's Fair?
Meet Me in St. Louis

4. In July 2008, Anheuser-Busch accepted a takeover bid by what Belgian company?
Note: In place of the corporate name, your QoD Meister will accept the name of any of this company's over 200 beer brands (not counting the Anheuser-Busch brands) for full credit.
Heard about it but have forgotten the name of the company. I will SWAG with Grolsch which I think is actually Dutch, not Belgian. But I am guessing most of the beer brands aren't Belgian.
Spoiler
Um, excuse me Mr. TANSTAAFL, but I think this is now the PISSY BASS FISH thread. LOL!
Spoiler
Hmm, do they drink beer too? That could certainly make them pissy! Perhaps they should try a lovely Belgian lambic. I am particularly fond of the framboise.

ANSWERS

1. Finnish-American architect Eero Saarinen designed what 630 foot high, 630 foot wide monument?

Gateway Arch. I know, it's a repeat. But what else can you ask about St. Louis? :P

2. What is the atomic number of Beryllium?

4. Or should I say '04? 8)

This question was not only a test to see if folks noticed the theme (if there is one) but also to see if they can put some common sense limits to the theme. If element 1904 exists, a Nobel Prize is waiting for its discoverer!

InBev They are the makers of Stella Artois, Bass and Beck's, among many others, including Labatt's and Löwenbräu. And who could forget their Russian brand, BagBier? :P

Grolsch, Heiniken, Amstel and Fukola have, so far, avoided being swept up by the InBev beer behemouth. Rexer's answer is also incorrect, as far as I can determine, although it does have a degree of foreshadowing. :)

I was surprised how many people remembered such a generic-sounding name as InBev, which was a bland combination of the names of the Belgian company Interbrew and the Brazilian company AmBev, from a 2004 merger. As part of this new deal, they've agreed to name the new company Anheuser-Busch InBev, which seems awfully generous for the newbie. Not ABInBev?

POINTS

Congrats to all the perfect scores! It looked like two of these questions were going to be unanimous again, but T-Bone was too busy celebrating his birthday to look for a theme, and Rexer is not meeting us in St. Louis.

I'm glad Marley accepted a beer brand, because the name is so boring and innocuous that I couldn't remember it, if I ever remembered it in the first place.

And I would have SO rocked on the bowling QOD!
Spoiler
I'm darned good and ready.

Fair's fair!

I couldn't remember that name until I looked it up, either! :)
