You need not think this thread is complete without at least one post from me. It's a nightmare day and this may be my only post until late tonight.
I have a bil who invited himself to spend the night since he's in town for a conference. I had a 9:30am dentist appointment, had to get the guest room and bath ready, make sure the rest of the house was presentable, have one girl at the office off today meaning I have to work at least 3 hours longer than normal, then I have to go to a boring business dinner tonight at 7:30 which will probably drag out for 2 1/2 or 3 hours.
But I just had to get one gratuitous post in the gratuitous post thread.
I made it before midnight!

Okay, it is a bad dream kind of day. Remember there are worse days and today wasn't one of them.kayrharris wrote:You need not think this thread is complete without at least one post from me. It's a nightmare day and this may be my only post until late tonight.

Having a day like this myself (the mild bad dream kind) and won't be able to check in until later.

I didn't want it to be a gratuitous grateful generic greeting. I have standards.MarleysGh0st wrote:That's a fairly generic grateful post.silvercamaro wrote:Here's a grateful post from me.
Thank you, for whatever it is that you did that I really appreciated, whatever that was, whenever it happened.

I feel a little better now after reading this quote from Mr. Burke:kayrharris wrote:Gratuitous post to gripe gratuitously about getting in so late from dinner. I'm very grumpy and tired.

This doesn't sound very gratuitous. It almost makes sense.
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

I thought this was the Squirrel Bored....
Squirrels are the architects of forests, the planters of trees, nature's own acrobats and show a zest for life that can inspire us. Every day should be National Squirrel Appreciation Day!

Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.
