Anybody with gmail... (Google mail)

#1 Post by SportsFan68 » Mon Aug 04, 2008 11:53 am

I keep getting "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close" when I'm drafting replies in my gmail account.

Anybody else have this happening lately? So far it isn't a real big problem because it automatically saves drafts.

Any enlightenment appreciated.

It's all his fault. That'll be $10.

Not to sound Juchian, but switch to Foxfire. I don't get those problems.
Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!

That'll be $10, please.

And if that doesn't work, switch to Firefox.

I use Firefox & haven't noticed that problem -- but a bunch of us in my Astronomy club use Gmail for our list server, and we've been having major bounce problems. Apparently it thinks we're spammers, even though it's a private list we all subscribe to.

Ironically, most of us switched to Gmail last year when Yahoo started bouncing our list mail.

Thanks to Rexer, Ed, and VADame. I'll try it at home.
