I do not know these folks, but the father is the Scout Master at the other elementary school served by our neighborhood, and is the troop that my wife's best friend's boys attend. He was camping with their two older sons this weekend when this happened. The wife apparently is pretty involved at their church.
A brief prayer for them, and all other parents who have lost young ones tragically would be appreciated.

A northwest Harris County mother discovered her 15-month-old son unresponsive in a bathtub at their home Saturday morning.
The toddler was taken to Cy-Fair Hospital, where he was pronounced dead about 11 a.m.
The mom and toddler had spent the night at a church lock-in, officials said Sunday. When they returned home around 8:30 a.m. Saturday, the mother and the child went to bed.
After a few hours, "she woke up, couldn't find him and then found him in the tub," said Lt. John Legg, spokesman for the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
Legg described the bathtub as "semi-sunken" with a lever-type faucet that a toddler could operate.
"This appears to be one of those tragic accidents," Legg said. "He probably wanted to take a bath."
He is the 25th child to drown in Houston this year.

Tragedy close to home
..what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? let them take arms.
~~ Thomas Jefferson
War is where the government tells you who the bad guy is.
Revolution is when you decide that for yourself.
