FNGD Q5 - FRIDAY AUG 1, 2008 - QUEBEC STUFF
Q5 - QUEBEC STUFF, MAYBE
B - The three towns St. Agapit, St. Apollinaire, and St-Antoine-de-Tilly are well known in modern Quebec,as:
1 - hometowns of dumb ccuntrified hayseeds
2 - listed together at an autoroute exit on Route 20, very close to Quebec City.
3 - the location of the first district to report in Quebec elections.
4 - continuing sites of religious pilgrimage.
G - The attendance at her 8 coming shows in Montreal will, in total, exceed by a bit, the number she sang for at the Youth Mass of John Paul II at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal, in the early eighties.

I'll guess Averil Levigne.

Its Larry Bud Selig time.....
Yes, the 3 towns are listed on a somewhat notorious exit sign on the Rte 20. If you are a modern Quebecer with business in the towers of government in Quebec City and the towers of business in Montreal, you may drive dozens, if not hundreds of times past that sign and never think of turning off...
which is why in part...
Prime Minister Harper visited St. Agapit for a major speech and good-time. HE will be trying to win a majority in the Federal parliament with rural Ontarians, rural Quebecers, and Albertans.....
The Magdalen Islands (Iles-de-la-Madeleine) fishing islands over towards PEI have a seat in the National Assembly and a seat in the COmmons and they report first in Quebec, but not a particuarly good weathervane.
Celine Dion. Didn't need to have any of her shows hawked on the radio free call ins. 65K estimate at the Olympic Stadium for John Paul, and I dont know exactly how many will be in the concert format of the hockey rink , but it will be more than 8.
I count a tie.
38-38
And I dont have any tie-breaker today.
So I will not try to fake one.
And I thank all for playing.

Thank you for a wonderful game, Doc.
It wouldn't be Friday Night without you. (Okay, Fridays would still arrive once a week, and every Friday would grow dark after the sun went down, but Fridays would no longer be such an important Destination Day of the Week.)
Great fun!
