When a pitcher,especially a relief pitcher, with a tetchy sense of confidence and control, finally gets it together with one manager and one pitching coach.....

It makes no sense for another team to get him, immediately after..

Farnsworth to Detroit follows that rule.

LaTroy Hawkins ought to have stayed in Colorado.

Mel Rojas to the Cubbies in 1997, perfect example.

No! I always count on people leaving the game early to ease postgame congestion... It was one nice thing about the McGwire era, the mass 8th inning exodus.....
