Burglary!!!

Oh well -- false alarm -- it was somebody else's stuff the cops got. So probably *not* their burglar. It was a guy who was robbing truckers.

Good news -- the landlord is being decent & letting them out of the lease & they'll get their security dep. back.

Miscommunication is cases like this is a huge pain in the butt.

Yeah -- Keith & the kids got a truck & put everything else from the apartment in storage Wednesday. They were afraid to stay there & afraid to leave the rest of their belongings!

They're looking around for another apartment or maybe a townhouse. Found a kind of nice one yesterday that has a big 3rd floor room suitable for a studio or office -- or to have Leah for a roommate! Leah has to get her finances together though -- that long job loss left her behind on stuff like student loans. We always figure Leah is going to live with us till we die!
