Sorry we're late. Our driver had to stop at every bar he passed all the way here.

Excessive quoting of posts leads to increased greenhouse gasses! There have been numerous studies proving it, and we threw all the other studies away.

Save the earth! Go green and DON'T QUOTE!
As the gufanore ov the greenest state in the union, I would like to say that Mr. Gore ignores all the carbon absorbed by the quote pyramids, especially when they get to a height that makes them implode...

I'm thinking Tunnels? But I seem to remember the flower clip falling apart in Oahu. But maybe not, since she got it our last night in Waikiki, from a woman at the next table.

Two weeks, two islands, who knows how many beaches....

I know what I'm getting into everytime I complain about something having to do with the Bored, so I'd have to believe TKO knew what his post was gonna lead to.....

But I don't blame him for letting his view be known. I never let the eventual consequences stop me from griping about something....

Maybe he didn't.

I saw that post and was struck with the image of a guy opening a door to a room, rolling a hand grenade in, then slamming and locking the door from the outside.
I am about 25% sure of this.

Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

No, I think he was serious, and serious about stemming the tide. MM'ing has been waaaaay up lately (Just look at the Memberlist!), and just like I gripe about the artificial gus chases ((((shuddering)))) hoping it'll have an effect but knowing better, TKO was doing likewise with regards to MM's....
