New Bored stuff

#1 Post by christie1111 » Mon Jul 21, 2008 1:50 pm

Not only can I get into chat, but I just got a pop up kind of message telling me I had a PM. Is that new?

Are we slowly being upgraded?

Nope, not new. I get the popups at login and also an e-mail notification of new PM's. Considering how much I'm around, the latter is somewhat redundant.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Oh, I'm so sorry. The rest of us get hourly deliveries of champagne, cheese, and fresh flowers. I hope you'll get upgraded soon to the level of service the rest of us can take for granted.

Pop up window on new Private Message is one of the options you can check in your profile, but I don't know why that might have suddenly been turned on if you had it checked off.

I think I know, but didn't connect it until now.

SwampyTurtles called Saturday between trips to the hospital. She told us her son was singing on the radio in Hawaii in a few minutes. So I went and logged into the Hawaiian radio station and listened. But I had to turn off all my pop-up blockers to do so.

It was fun to listen to him.

I think you've had a little too much cheese in your diet lately. I don't think even sliver would take you in.
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

I dunno, Lizbit could use a new chew toy....
Squirrels are the architects of forests, the planters of trees, nature's own acrobats and show a zest for life that can inspire us. Every day should be National Squirrel Appreciation Day!

Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.
