Attention all Sacramento area wannabe's...
The J! BrainBus is going to be at the lovely Jackson Rancheria Hotel and Casino on Friday, July 25th, 2008!
In case you didn't quite reach your rejection quota for trivia game show "auditions".
I might go, after all I'm a glutton for punishment: I have 5 kids!

Marley, you're such a male. Birthing 5 is far more impressive than fathering 10!MarleysGh0st wrote:That would have been impressive, before frogman joined the Bored!mom2five wrote:I might go, after all I'm a glutton for punishment: I have 5 kids!

Hey, holding my wife's hand during labor was nothing to sneeze at - and it is no easy task to cut the umbilical cord
In addition, have you done 23 consecutive years with a minimum of at least 1 (if not more) in diapers - a good portion of the time with cloth diapers?
Seriously, I remember those lazy, relaxed days when we had only 5 - ah to be Jung again. Good luck on J! - knock 'em dead!

Sadly, I must leave, so I'll end the set by quoting Newton's Law 495780335: It's easier to push something in than it is to push something out.peacock2121 wrote:Should I pull up a chair and get me some popcorn and watch a pissing contest?
The Open is over, so it might be fun.

If you have changed and laundered twice as many diapers as your wife has, I'll give you a used impressive that I won in an internet contest and was going to give to charity.frogman042 wrote:Hey, holding my wife's hand during labor was nothing to sneeze at - and it is no easy task to cut the umbilical cord

PS I didn't say it wasn't impressive (insofar as having children is considered impressive), I was only stating that Marley wasn't giving mom2five sufficient credit.

Just for clarification purposes, I did give birth to all five of my brood the "old fashioned" way, no epidurals for me!
But I guess if I ever want to get on WWTBAM, I'd better "get busy" and have at least 5 more, the only problem is my husband can't help me with that anymore, he went to a special doctor and "got tutored"
I guess I shouldn't have watched so much "Price is Right" that ending message is powerful stuff! 3 cats, 1 dog, and my DH... next!

Fine, I give mom2five credit. And some credit to frogman, too. Credit all around to all you parents. Here's Fanny! wrote: PS I didn't say it wasn't impressive (insofar as having children is considered impressive), I was only stating that Marley wasn't giving mom2five sufficient credit.
Heck, I'm a bachelor. What do I know about raising children?

Well, given the fact that:TheConfessor wrote:I don't. That's why I asked. Here's Fanny! wrote:How do you know it's not?TheConfessor wrote: How do you know that?
- I never have given birth myself - but have witnessed it upclose and personal numerous tmes.
- I have had a kidney stone and that pain has been compared as approaching (but not reaching) the pain of childbirth.
- Based on Carol Burnett's quote that childbirth is like taking your lower lip and forcing it over your head.
I hearby concede to MomOfFive the more impressive feat - compared to me... but, of course, my lovely wife gets the gold!
