Woo hoo! I'm working on getting a group together. Will you be there for any specific performances? If you have time to send me an email about your schedule, I'd appreciate it!

I will be at all performances. I'm the show representative who is going to be helping work the box office.

Frank, I SO want to go, but unfortunately I can't...this bums me out so much!

But I can't go midweek and I've got two weddings to go to those weekends.

Break a leg anyway. I'm hoping a producer sees it and decides to move it to the Great White Way!

I'd like to go too but I can't. I'll wait for the movie.

Well, somebody IS working on a screenplay ... but my private opinion, is you have a LONG wait.

Does this make me an angel?

I'd love to be there, and if an unlikely impromptu need to return east arises next month, I will.

Break a leg! Or as they say in France, Merde! [Our theater company newsletter just had an article about the origins of theater expressions.]

Just bumping this thread forward to see if any BBs are making plans for specific dates. Only the last Saturday is out for me and I'll keep my eyes out for a BB gathering.

John, due to travel stuff and all, we're going to try and make the Wednesday 8/20, 2:45 performance. That will give us time to have a nice dinner somewhere after the play and not make the local people in town have to go home late at night.

I will let you know for sure once I have a plane ticket and a hotel room.

Well, darn. I was planning on one of the Saturday shows -- unless I can take a vacation day that Wednesday. I'll have to check into that...

I will try to join you for dinner myself, unless some producer sees the Wednesday show and say, "We MUST talk"....

For New Yorkers:

There is a brief mention in today's Daily News article about the Fringe Festival. (Sunday Now, p 10), just mentioning Galatea as one of the plays with a NY setting.

I would like to attend this Saturday's showing, but I am unsure I can make it by 4:00. I have other business in NYC, but don't know when I will be out of my meeting. Do tickets sell out, or would I be able to buy one if I make it there by 4:00?

Break a leg, Frank!

I saw Debbie Starker over the weekend, and she reminded me that the opening was coming up. Much excitement in the LI theatre community.
I am about 25% sure of this.

I attended on Saturday, and the play was very good. I particularly enjoyed the performance of the artist and the father. There are some great lines that brought the house down. Good luck on the rest of the run this week.

Cool! This gets me all the more excited for tomorrow night when I will see it along with at least three other BBs.

Magnificent -- and I'm not the least bit surprised.

I so wish I could be there to see it.

Excellent news! Congratulations!! Be sure to let us know of any good stuff that ensues from this, like approaches by big-name directors.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.
