Happy, happy birthday, Nancy.
Hope you're enjoying your summer. (Notice other teachers never say "summer off. "

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
Suitguy is not bitter.
feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive
The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

Happy Birthday, Nancy!
With all these birthdays, we should have a lot of cake around here! Where is it all hidden?

I made this on Wednesday. It turned out quite nice.
All from scratch. I don't do this type of thing very often.

You sayin' that's not my cake?
You'd be right, but still.....
I saw a hint on the food network for a nice even layer when baking a cake. You make a little "valley" in the center of the batter with the back of a spoon and it will come out nice and even on top. It works!

Must be that MAC you're using.
I can't type today either. I have so many typos in this thread, it's ridiculous.
It's Evil Squirrel's fault for keeping me up late in chat last night.

Squirrels are the architects of forests, the planters of trees, nature's own acrobats and show a zest for life that can inspire us. Every day should be National Squirrel Appreciation Day!

Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.

I am about 25% sure of this.
