Heard this on New England Cable News last night. If that had been GW, the house would be on the market by the next morning.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

I saw this on the news and the commentators were asking"where did it come from?"

I'm thinking "is there a boy in the house?"
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

My friend here found a 4-5 ft King snake in her office on Saturday when she was there by herself. This is right in the middle of a group of other offices and pretty much surrounded by asphalt.

She thinks she tore something in her knee in her hurry to get out of there!

But how much Suavitel does it take to soften an 8 foot snake? It doesn't say on the directions....

When Richard Burton, who operates Maine Animal Damage Control in Lewiston, arrived at Ranger's house, he could barely believe his eyes.
Someone else who outlived his retirement money?

This was the first news story I saw this morning. I envied her ability to slam down the lid of the washing machine and keep it in one place. I would have piled a 36-volume set of the Encyclopedia Brittanica on top, to keep the snake from pushing the lid up with his head. I then would never do laundry again.

Or, my next phone call would sound like this: "Sears? Do you still have that offer where, if I buy a new washing machine, you'll deliver it it and take the old washer away?"
